Toyota introduced the Toyota Tundra in May 1999; it is manufactured in the United States by Toyota. It was nominated by Motor Trend magazine as the North America truck of the year in 2000 and 2008.

The first-generation of Toyota Tundra featured 3.4L, 4.0L, and 4.7L engines with 5-speed manual transmission and 4-speed auto transmission. Toyota Land Cruiser 60-series was one of the best vehicles of all time manufactured for family off-road adventure. It featured Toyota’s industrial toughness integrated with style and comfort. Toyota started developing the 60-series in 1976, and the basic idea was to create a 4-wheel drive car for a family.

The car was manufactured to compete in the emerging sports market. It featured an upgraded interior, a rear heater, and air conditioning. It featured the same engine as the FJ-40 series, i.e., 4.0L 2H 6-cylinder and 3.4L 3B 4-cylinder engine.
